Bitter loss for Dinamo, Shkëndija gets the big win

Dinamo was defeated 3-0 away from Jagiellonia in the first match of the Conference League play-off phase.

The match took place in Poland and ended in a clean victory for the home team. Goals for Jagiellonia were scored by Imaz, Paululu and Wojtuszek.

Dinamo had obvious difficulties in the defensive phase, especially in the cases of the first two goals. The team led by Ilir Daja failed to react in the right way during the game. The loss significantly worsens its positions for qualification to the next round.

However, Dinamo will have another chance in the return leg. The second leg will take place on August 28, in Albania.

Shkëndija got a big victory, defeating Ludogorets 2-1 with a comeback, in the Europa League play-off. The Tetovan team is getting closer to the Europa League groups.
