Guardiola leaves City, the club has a new coach ready

Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City at the end of this season, ending a decade-long spell at the English club.

According to British media, the Catalan coach's last match will be against Aston Villa in the Premier League. Guardiola leaves after 591 games on the bench and as the most successful coach in the club's history.

Under his leadership, Manchester City won 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles and the club's first Champions League. City executives have begun informing sponsors and partners of the 55-year-old coach's departure.

A celebratory parade is also expected to be held in Manchester to honor his contribution. Meanwhile, the club has chosen Enzo Maresca as Guardiola's successor for next season.

The Italian coach comes after experience at Chelsea and has already started work on building the new team.
