Champions League/ Eyes on Real-Bayern, real-time results

This Tuesday evening, the first two quarter-final matches in the Champions League will be played.

Real Madrid hosts Bayern Munich, in what is the 29th meeting between them.

The Madrid team comes after a 2-1 defeat to Mallorca in La Liga, leaving them seven points behind first place. This is Real Madrid's 22nd appearance in the quarter-finals, having reached the semi-finals 17 times.

The Germans come off the back of a 3-2 victory over Freiburg and are unbeaten in 12 matches in all competitions.

The next match is between Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal in Portugal.

The Londoners have won 9 out of 10 matches in this edition of the Champions League. In direct confrontations, Sporting have not won any of the 7 matches against Arsenal.
