Juventus moves closer to Champions League, Di Gregorio awaits penalty

Juventus won 2-0 against Genoa at home, securing their third win in the last 8 matches in Serie A.

The first goal came in the 4th minute, when Bremer headed home. In the 17th minute, Weston McKennie doubled the lead after a counterattack initiated by Francisco Conceiçao.

Juventus had other chances through Thuram and Kenan Yildiz, while McKennie missed a clear chance before the break.

In the second half, Jonathan David hit the post after a mistake by goalkeeper Bijlow. Genoa registered the first shot on goal with Tommaso Baldanzi, but was unsuccessful.

In the final minutes, VAR awarded a penalty to Genoa, but Michele Di Gregorio stopped Aaron Caricol's shot.

With this triumph, Juventus moves to 57 points, in fifth place, just one point less than Como in fourth place.
