Bernardo Silva's departure from City is official, he is wanted in Italy

Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, after 9 years with the club.

The news was confirmed by Pep Guardiola's assistant, Pep Lijnders, after the victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup.

The Portuguese midfielder has played 450 games for the "citizens", scoring 76 goals and providing 77 assists.

He joined City from Monaco in 2017 for €50m. During that time, he has won 18 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League.

He has played 43 games this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists. Despite a more limited role, he has remained an important part of the team. Juventus have shown interest in signing him on a free transfer in the summer.
