Napoli in pursuit of Inter, Milan "surrenders"

Napoli achieved an important 1-0 victory against Milan at the "Maradona" stadium, taking second place in Serie A.

The only goal of the match was scored by Matteo Politano in the 79th minute, after a precise assist from Gutierrez.

The match was balanced, with Milan only taking risks through Nkunku in the first half, while Napoli gradually increased their lead after the break.

Coach Conte's inclusion of Alisson Santos proved to be the winning move, as the Brazilian initiated the decisive goal.

Goalkeeper Maignan made several important saves, but could not stop Politano's shot from close range.

With this success, Napoli climbs to 65 points, two more than Allegri's Milan, which has now dropped to third place.

The difference with leading Inter remains seven points, keeping the race for the championship title alive.
