The Albanian Road Authority has informed about the situation of snowfall which has continued during the night in the mountainous areas of the country.

The snowfall has also started in Qafë Plloçë-Kapshticë, Korçë-Ersekë, Libonik-Maliq, Z?blak-Dogana Goricë, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Pukë Fushë Arrëz-Kukës, where it has been worked with snow removal tools and traffic is carried out without any problem.

On the Bogë-Theth axis in the area of ??the tunnels, avalanches continue, causing difficulties in traffic and clearing the road.

According to ARRSH, contractors with tools and workers have been on the ground throughout the night on all axes with the presence of snow in order to keep traffic normal.

"Show extra care when driving in rainy weather, equip yourself with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas, reduce speed, respect the traffic signs and the instructions of the Traffic Police", advises ARRSH./CNA.al
