A road accident was recorded this Sunday on the Peqin-Rrogozhina national axis, near the Gjocaj intersection.
According to preliminary information, two vehicles collided with each other, and the collision was severe and caused extensive material damage, especially to one of the vehicles.
It is suspected that the accident occurred after one of the vehicles entered the main road without respecting traffic rules, leading to a collision with the other vehicle.
As a result of the accident, one of the vehicle drivers was injured and was sent for medical assistance.
Police have arrived at the scene and have launched investigations to clarify the dynamics of the accident and the causes that led to the collision of the two vehicles.
The incident comes just a few hours after another serious accident recorded on the same road axis, bringing attention back to safety on this segment./ CNA
