Analyst Andi Bushati commented today on Mereme Sela's candidacy for the position of leader of the Democratic Party.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Bushati stated that this candidacy against the current and historical leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, is not sufficient.

According to Bushati, there is a funny element in the fact that Berisha would win the race with these odds and that the result would be known at the start.

"Those who accept Mereme, Mrs. Mereme, make the race ridiculous. Better a violent race than a ridiculous one. Whoever gave the okay to Mrs. Mereme has a grudge against Berisha."

Why don't these people want it? Berisha wins, no matter who he goes with.

"The bottom line is, they want to instill a dictatorship mentality in the party. This is the only rational explanation for why they don't accept competitions even when they know the result," Bushat told CNA.
