Honestly... it's a brain problem!

I read, I listen, and I am even one of those who writes from time to time about the "political vacuum"; the "crisis of the political system", the "lack of opposition", the "autocratic regime", the "illegitimate government of the narco-state", etc., etc.

Nonsense. None of this makes sense.

We simply have a government that has been elected by the people according to the legitimate procedures provided for in the Constitution. Normally, this is called Democracy.

How democracy and free voting are alienated is another matter.

It is not democracy's fault or politics' fault if the government is consumed in the courts or its ministers are imprisoned for active or passive corruption. It is not democracy's fault or politics' fault if half of the DP does not like the other half, if the DP split into seven or eight other parties within a year. It is not democracy's fault if analysts pick plums in television studios and many politicians disgust us with the fact that we voted and we regret that we cannot take our vote back. It is not democracy's fault if some have confused politics with madness.

Naturally, we must understand that it is impossible to have both a "regime" and a "political vacuum".

Of course there are many people who seek and claim something better for themselves. This is neither a problem nor does it constitute a problem.

All Albanian citizens have the right to create parties, associations, orchestras, ensembles, theater groups and ask the public to applaud them. Even Berisha, even Rama, even Basha, even Agron, even Lapaj with Shabani, even Shehi with Alibeaj, even Noizi with Stresi, even Çiljeta with Fevziu and the fevzins...

Whether they will find spectators, applauders, and followers is another matter.

Just as it is not serious to claim that "the opposition does not exist". Of course it does. It is simply capable of doing so. It is as the opposition leaders themselves wanted it to be, as it was invested by Rama, who can boast that this opposition has the most successful investment.

The Albanian opposition is capable of doing this much. This is its problem. It is no one's fault that they are refractory, moldy, without ideas and unreformed even in human resources. It is not the fault of the "system" or their opponents.

Do you know what the opposition's problem is?

It is neither Berisha, nor Shehaj, nor Basha, nor Alibeaj, Qorri, nor Lapaj.

It is polyphony, which very easily turns into cacophony, or a rant analogous to the one who speaks, which reaches a stage where no one hears what the other is saying. It is also the illusion that Albanian citizens wake up every morning worried that Rama will leave and Berisha will not come.

This is not the case. Albanian citizens have other concerns and problems in life that are more serious than the troubles of Rama or Berisha.

The real problem is not the “non-existence of the opposition”, but the emptiness in the minds of all those who scream and run into the void. An ugly mess. This is probably not an individual politician’s problem, a party’s problem or a democracy’s problem. It is not even a problem of any ensemble, orchestra or theatre troupe.

It's a brain problem and, unfortunately, no one can intervene there!.../ CNA
