The shortest man in the world part of the "Guinness" book

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Afshin Esmaeil Ghaderzadeh, 20 years old, is one of the shortest people in the world, with a height of 65.24 cm, almost seven centimeters shorter than the previous record holder, Edward "Ninja" Hernandez, 36 years old.

Life in the remote village in Iran's Bukan district has not been easy for Afshin. The inability to attend school because of the height has made it difficult to learn to read and write.

He's had a tough road, but he's excited about his latest achievement: writing his name.

Due to physical frailty and treatment, Ghaderzadeh, 20, has stopped schooling, while his modest home and family work hard to provide enough income for medicine.

Because of his short stature, he has trouble finding work, but he works in construction and spends his time watching cartoons and surfing the Internet.

Although he has been accepted into society, he says that he would like to live like other people and drive a car, but for now, he is always accompanied by his parents and sometimes they have to carry him by their side due to physical difficulties./ CNA
