Fun activities that protect you from depression

Many people with depression struggle to keep themselves busy to pass the time.

Studies have listed some of the fun activities that help you stay away from depression.

Such are handicrafts such as knitting, crocheting or books. These activities are more preferred by the elderly, so a recent study focused on the elderly.

The study lasted for 4 to 8 years and analyzed the data of 93,000 seniors over 65 from the US, Japan, China, England and 12 European countries.

It turned out that engaging in favorite activities was associated with a reduction in depressive symptoms and brought a greater sense of happiness and satisfaction.

The most positive results were seen in Denmark with 96% of participants, followed by Sweden with 95.8% and Switzerland with 94.4%./ CNA
