Bribe 20 euros to avoid alcohol test/ 2 drivers arrested in Vora and Durres

He was driving while intoxicated and attempted to bribe officers, offering them 20 euros to not perform an alcohol test. Two people were arrested for attempting to bribe Traffic Police officers.

Citizen GR, 51 years old, resident of Durrës, was arrested. An alcohol test showed that this citizen was driving while intoxicated, at a level of 0.71 mg/l.

Meanwhile, during the monitoring and controls of the Durrës Traffic Police services, for the identification and punishment of violators of road traffic rules, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen Sh. K., 31 years old, resident of Vora, Tirana, after he attempted to bribe Traffic Police employees by offering them 2000 new lekë.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
