TNT explosion in Lezha/ One person escorted, first details

A TNT explosion has occurred in the village of Balldren i Vjetër in Lezha. It is reported that the explosion occurred on a land surface in the early hours of the morning.

It is reported that the land is owned by the Nikulaj tribe. Meanwhile, according to information, there were no injuries or material damage.

In connection with this incident, a suspect has been arrested and further actions are being taken to clarify the circumstances.

"Around 09:55, we were notified that in the village of Balldren i Vjetër, Lezhë, in an open area in the early hours of the morning, a suspected amount of explosive material exploded, without causing any harm to people or material damage. Immediately after the notification, the Police services and the investigation group went to the scene, who carried out the first investigative actions.

In connection with this incident, 1 suspect citizen has been arrested and further actions are being taken to clarify the circumstances. Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigative actions continue for the legal documentation of both incidents, as well as for the identification and capture of the perpetrators," the police statement said. /CNA
