Criminal group selling weapons and ammunition busted in Tirana/ Four arrested, 2

Four people have been arrested and two others have been declared wanted following the finalization of Operation "Network" to crack down on a criminal group that was selling firearms, explosives and ammunition in Tirana.

The arrested are citizens MV, 35 years old, EM, 25 years old, FZ, 29 years old and KB, 32 years old, while KV, 21 years old and BA, 28 years old, are wanted.

As part of the operation, 7 firearms, combat ammunition and other items were seized that will serve the investigation, which continues to identify other citizens involved in the group.

During the entire investigation period and police actions, with the objective of cracking down on the criminal activity of this group, a total of 9 citizens were arrested, and 17 firearms, 4 explosives, a large amount of ammunition, 4 vehicles and 13 mobile phones were seized.

Tirana/The operation codenamed "Network" is being finalized, to crack down on a criminal group that was selling firearms, explosives and ammunition in Tirana.

The operation was finalized by Police Station No. 4, as a result of an investigation using proactive methods, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

4 citizens are arrested and 2 others are wanted.

Seven firearms, combat ammunition and other items that will serve the investigation were seized.

During the entire investigation period and police actions, with the objective of cracking down on the criminal activity of this group, a total of 9 citizens were arrested, and 17 firearms, 4 explosives, a large amount of ammunition, 4 vehicles and 13 mobile phones were seized.

Following this investigation, as well as within the framework of the "Network" operation, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 executed the orders of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, for the detention of citizens MV, 35 years old, EM, 25 years old, FZ, 29 years old and KB, 32 years old.

Further, citizens KV, 21 years old, and BA, 28 years old, were declared wanted.

The investigations suspect that the 6 citizens identified during the "Network" operation, together with the previously arrested citizens, DJ, F. Gj., UM, LM and KM, organized as a group, have obtained and sold firearms, explosives and combat ammunition in various areas of the capital.

6 citizens were found and seized as material evidence, 7 firearms (4 pistols and 3 automatic rifles), combat ammunition and other items that will serve the investigation, which continues to identify other citizens involved in the group, as well as to fully document the criminal activity of the group.

Also, work continues to capture wanted citizens.
