Gunshot wound in Shijak/Perpetrator arrested

The perpetrator of the injury that occurred yesterday afternoon in Shijak has been arrested. The news was announced by the director of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, Ervin Hodaj, at a press conference.

Hodaj announced that the perpetrator, citizen EB, has been arrested for the criminal offense of "intentional serious injury."

"First, taking the lead in relation to the injury in Shijak, the perpetrator was captured and arrested for 'intentional serious injury'. It was a commitment of all forces. One of the police methods was also cooperation with family members. There was no resistance during the arrest," said Hodaj.

The injury occurred a day ago in the Lugina neighborhood in Shijak. The incident occurred after a conflict for weak motives between two people. The injured person was a BG citizen, who received a wound to the leg. / CNA
