Don't disrupt the protest!/ Don't insult and denigrate the people!

DO NOT DISRUPT THE PROTEST! Do not insult and denigrate the people!

You appreciate them for being idealists and not pickpockets.

Appreciate them for all their honest and patriotic contributions.

After sincerely appreciating and respecting them, you gratefully invite them to become part of the mission for "New Albania".

Last night, an intemperate speaker/"artist" denigrated ordinary socialists for supporting and voting for Rilindja.

Others do the same thing for ordinary democrats without any privileges, why do they support the Democratic Party.

First, the Albanian people have continuously demanded change for 35 years: they voted for Berisha, Nano; they supported Majko, Meta; they re-voted for Berisha and Meta; and they voted for Rama.

Rama killed public trust for a greedy, even criminal, government.

So, the responsibility does not lie with the supporters of each political party, but with the leaders who have betrayed their people and who have enriched themselves so quickly and in such a criminal manner, as the great Albanian poet, Ali Asllani, describes in his poem "Hakërim" - which could and should be the anthem of this protest.

Why do protests that denigrate the people fail?

Loss of inspirational power:

A protest that only curses and denigrates loses its inspiring power and gradually fades away.

Family and social disruption:

Also in protest are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those whom some of the speakers publicly denigrate and without any moral right.

Those who vote for their parties are not the rotten part of society and politics; they are not the abusers, because they have never had real power.

When populist leaders betray hope: Historical examples

World history shows that when popular movements become tools of denigration or when they are led by populist leaders, legitimate causes are betrayed as soon as these leaders take or hold power:

Aung San Suu Kyi (Myanmar): From a global symbol of peace, democracy and freedom, awarded the Nobel Prize, as soon as she came to power she collaborated with the military and became a defender of ethnic cleansing and crimes against the Rohingya community. The trust of the people who sacrificed for her was betrayed in the most macabre way.

"Red Shirt" Movement (Thailand):

Millions of ordinary, poor citizens protested for years demanding social justice, only to be used as mere cannon fodder by their populist leader, billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra, to protect his wealth and oligarchic interests.

The Betrayal of Populist Movements in Latin America:

In countries like Venezuela, movements that began on behalf of ordinary people against corrupt elites turned into regimes where leaders became fabulously rich while the people fell into extreme poverty.

The message is clear:

The enemy is not the simple socialist, democrat or any political party voter.

The deadly enemy of hope and the future for a "New Albania" is:

corruption and greed

of leaders who betray the trust of their people!

Have a good day and be full of positivity!/ CNA
