A 42-year-old man has been arrested in the capital after stealing a vehicle on "Niko Avrami" Street.

The theft of the vehicle was done with the intention of selling it for scrap.

Criminal proceedings were also initiated against the owner of a scrap yard, where the stolen vehicle was found and seized as material evidence.

A 42-year-old man was arrested after stealing a vehicle on "Niko Avrami" Street with the intention of selling it for scrap.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4, after receiving a report that a vehicle had been stolen on "Niko Avrami" Street, immediately organized the work to clarify and document the case.

As a result of a well-organized operation, citizen AA, 42 years old, resident of Tirana, was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto. This citizen, yesterday, on "Niko Avrami" street, stole the vehicle owned by citizen EA, and then took it to a scrap yard, with the intention of selling it.

Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen B. Gj., 38 years old, after the stolen vehicle owned by him was found and seized during the search at the scrap yard.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
