A person has been arrested in the village of Bajzë, Shkodra, after cocaine was sold and games of chance were organized in his bar. The person arrested is citizen GP, ??26 years old, resident of the village of Vukpalaj.

During the operation conducted yesterday evening, in the 26-year-old's bar, quantities of cocaine, 1 slot machine and mobile phones used for gambling, suspected smuggled alcoholic beverages and amounts of money suspected of having been obtained from illegal activities in this environment were found.

It is also reported that verifications revealed that the premises were not registered with the competent authorities.

The owner of the bar, who had not registered the entity with the competent authorities, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

Seized from the bar were doses of cocaine, 4 cell phones and 1 gambling machine, suspected smuggled alcoholic beverages and a sum of money suspected of being derived from illegal activities.

Specialists of the Economic-Financial Crimes Investigation Section and the Narcotics Investigation Section, with the support of the "Eagle" Special Force Section of the Shkodra Police Department, following the controls to prevent and crack down on illegal activities, based on information obtained through operational channels, organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Game Over".

During the operation conducted yesterday evening, in a bar in the village of Bajzë, quantities of suspected cocaine, 1 slot machine and mobile phones used for gambling, suspected smuggled alcoholic beverages and amounts of money suspected of having been obtained from illegal activity in this area were found. The verifications showed that this subject was not registered with the competent authorities.

Following the procedural actions, the owner of the bar, citizen GP, ??26 years old, resident of the village of Vukpalaj, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action. / CNA
