Wanted for cannabis cultivation/ 44-year-old arrested

Shkodra police have arrested a 44-year-old man wanted for drug cultivation.

The Shkodra court has imposed the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment" on him after it is suspected that in 2021 he cultivated 90 narcotic plants in the village of Prekal.

At the time of the arrest, the 44-year-old was also found with a knife, which was seized.

A wanted citizen has been arrested and handcuffed, accused of cultivating narcotic plants in the village of Prekal.

At the time of the arrest, a cutting tool (knife) was found on him.

Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Eagle" and the Operational Force, arrested and detained citizen Gj. G., 44 years old, resident of the village of Grudë e Re, who was declared wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Shkodra has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

Investigations suspect that this citizen cultivated 90 narcotic plants in the village of Prekal, Postribë administrative unit, which were found and destroyed by the Police services in 2021.

At the time of the arrest, during the search of this citizen's bag, a cutting tool (knife) was found, which was seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
