A 23-year-old man lost his life yesterday while repairing his vehicle at a service station in the village of Dardhë, Librazhd. The owner of the service station has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Citizen IP, 40 years old, was arrested for the criminal offenses of “Violation of occupational safety regulations” and “Illegal employment.” He had illegally employed his brother and another person.

"Following the information provided yesterday, regarding the incident that occurred at the service station of citizen IP, in the village of Dardhë, where citizen LD, 23 years old, lost his life while repairing his vehicle, we would like to inform you that following the investigative and procedural actions carried out by the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Librazhd Police Commissariat, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, citizen IP, 40 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Violation of safety rules at work" and "Illegal employment". The investigations suspect that citizen IP had illegally employed citizens JP (his brother) and MQ in his entity," the police statement reads. /CNA
