Zekensky: About four million Ukrainians have been affected by power cuts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says around four million people across Ukraine have been hit by power cuts that Ukrainian companies have been forced to impose due to infrastructure damage caused by Russia's bombing campaign.

Zelensky said in his nightly speech on October 28 that the affected areas include Kyiv and Kharkiv, as well as the regions surrounding the two major cities.

Authorities in Kiev said restrictions would have to be increased to "unprecedented" levels.
