An Albanian is suspected of being involved in a horror event that happened in Ingolstadt, southern Germany a year ago, The Guardian reports .

The 24-year-old Kosovar man, named Sheqir K, is accused of acting as an accomplice to a 23-year-old German-Iraqi girl who has been charged with murder after allegedly soliciting her on Instagram and killing her in an attempt to fake her death. .

The 23-year-old girl, identified as Shahraban Kh-B, was initially thought to be the murder victim when the body of a young woman was found last August in a parked Mercedes in Ingolstadt, southern Germany.

Some members of her family had even identified her body, but an autopsy report the next day raised questions over her identity due to tattoos that were not identifiable. The victim was later identified as Khadidja O, a 23-year-old blogger of Algerian origin from Heilbronn, in the neighboring state of Baden-Eurttemberg.

State prosecutors in Ingolstadt also said Shahraban Kh-B was also accused of offering a man, identified as A, 10,000 euros to kill her husband's brother. She allegedly paid him an advance of €5,000, but he took the money without complying with her repeated requests to carry out the murder. She has accepted the charge.

The 24-year-old Kosovar, who is accused of acting as an accomplice in the murder committed by Shahraban Kh-B, is expected to appear in court.
