At least 35 people have died in an explosion and fire at a gas station in the Caucasus region of the Dagestan region of the Russian Federation, according to the latest data announced today by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the reports of international agencies, three children are also among the victims.
The Russian Ministry of Health announced that around 80 people were injured.
The causes of the disaster are not yet known, but accidents and fires of this nature are common in Russia. They often occur due to violations of safety rules.
