The trial of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexheo Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi continues today in the Special Court.

The court ruled in favor of a defense request.

The news was announced by the Kosovar media.

At the beginning of the hearing, presiding judge Charles Smith said that regarding the list of materials, he recalled that on August 16-17, 2023, issues were raised as to whether the defense teams could upload the list of presentations , materials that were already on another defense team's roster.

He says that the ZPZ objected to this procedure on the grounds that they were not aware of the materials that Kadri Veseli's defense intended to use in their questions of the witness.

"The trial body recalls that in accordance with paragraph 83 of the exchange of judgment, the list of presentations, when all the documents or other materials that will be used by the parties that will ask questions, must be issued to the trial body and other parties as soon as possible. at least immediately after the end of the prosecutor's questioning of this witness... therefore under the current circumstances each defense team will upload only documents that they intend to use in their cross-examination unless this material is on the prosecution's list of materials , of course there will be some overlap between the defense teams, but the jury believes it is a more appropriate way to proceed," said Charles Smith./ CNA
