The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, at the year-end meeting with journalists, spoke about the achievements and commitments of Albanian diplomacy.

During his speech, Hasani said that regarding the negotiations with the European Union, we expect good news at the beginning of 2024.

"Albania is today ready for the Second Intergovernmental Conference. Negotiations with the EU, we expect good news at the beginning of 2024. Cooperation with the Albanian factor in the region, another achievement for the year we are leaving behind. Further consolidation of cooperation with the diaspora, a key priority for 2024. Albania is proud of its increased contribution to regional processes. The presidencies of the initiatives we take in 2024 will help deepen cooperation and regional integration. Economic diplomacy, the focus of MEPJ's priorities for 2024. The Foreign Service will work to attract as many projects and investments as possible.
