Kallas: The possibility of creating a European Union army is under discussion

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kalas stated that the European Union's defense philosophy needs urgent change.

The Estonian politician warned that a permanent breakdown in transatlantic relations and the expansion of "political coercion" require the EU to quickly review its approach to security and take greater responsibility for its defense.

At the same time, Kallas said that considering Hungary, the right of a country's negotiator to shape the politics of its citizens cannot be accepted.
