The family and supporters of Alexei Navalny have continued to search for the body of the Russian opposition figure who died in prison on Friday.

Navalny's family members have finally received news about the body of the deceased.

A representative of Navalny's team has informed the Kremlin critic's mother that the body is being kept for "chemical analysis" and will be sent to them in two weeks.

The location of Navalny's body has not been disclosed by Russian authorities, and efforts to find him have been suspended.

Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of the Russian opposition leader, has made accusations that her husband was killed on the orders of President Vladimir Putin.
