The government has submitted to the Assembly the draft law for the 2026 budget.
The Ministry of Health has received the largest budget, specifically 82.5 billion lek, followed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy with 77.2 billion lek. Meanwhile, the third ministry with the largest budget is the Ministry of Education with 64.8 billion lek.
The draft budget document was approved by the Council of Ministers a day ago, and is expected to be discussed in parliamentary committees in the coming weeks. According to the official document, the total budget is expected to reach 8.8 billion euros. /CNA
