Expenditures in the draft budget for 2026/ 10 million lek for the Tirana

The draft budget for 2025 foresees a series of expenditures in various areas. Among them are expenditures that will be used to financially support active concessions and PPPs.

The document highlights that among the expenditures foreseen by the Ministry of Environment and the Municipality of Tirana, a spending plan has been made for the Tirana incinerator.

This figure amounts to 10 million euros.

We recall that the Tirana incinerator, much anticipated in recent years, has not yet been built, so it is non-existent.

In the table, it is determined that this money will go to the category: Construction of the landfill, incinerator and rehabilitation of existing Tirana landfills and electricity production. It will be current expenses.

It is not clear what will actually happen and what this money will go for.

Meanwhile, the draft budget also foresees the following expenses:

33.6 million lek for Arbri Street

20 million lek for hospital laboratory services

15 million lek for customs scanning services

Expenditures for the Milot-Morinë highway, services for surgical equipment, dialysis in 5 regional hospitals, and others have also been foreseen. /CNA
