Sources for CNA have informed that director Alhysa held a meeting with the leaders of the educational institutions and ordered them to stay in the institutions.

This, after she issued a decision that education leaders should be at work until the end of July and not have more than 30 days of summer leave.

The same sources indicate that the director also requested a chart for the purpose of monitoring on her part.

But this decision violates the law "with both feet", since in article 8 of the collective labor contract with the Ministry of Education it is stated that for the summer period the time off cannot be less than 45 calendar days.

VACATION TIME

8.1. Vacation time in the public education system consists of weekly vacations and annual vacations.

8.2. The weekly rest is Saturday and Sunday.

8.3. The determination of annual vacation time is based on Article 92, point 2 of the Labor Code and VKM no. 220, dated 24.05.1994 "On supplementary leave in the education sector". Based on these provisions, annual vacations for teachers and their leaders consist of 56 working days, which, in addition to summer vacations, also include the days when classes are interrupted according to the annual curriculum.

- For the summer period, vacation time cannot be less than 45 calendar days and cannot be interrupted more than once.

- The annual vacation for auxiliary personnel and service personnel is not less than 4 calendar weeks.

8.4. For the effect of the annual leave, the time of temporary disability at work is also counted in the working time.

8.5. Employees who are members of the unions signing this Contract, in case of marriage or death of their spouse, their direct ancestors or descendants, sisters and brothers, benefit from a paid leave of 5 days.

8.6. In the event of a serious illness of the ancestors or direct descendants, certified by a medical report, the education workers, members of the unions signing this Contract, benefit up to 10 unpaid working days per month or 120 days per year", it is emphasized in the article 8 of the collective labor contract.

So, this decision violates Article 8 of this contract that the Ministry of Education offers to its employees.
