Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with pensioners in Berat today. During his speech, Rama spoke about the pension scheme, saying that the annual increase is guaranteed by the budget.
During his speech, Rama also mocked Lulzim Basha, saying that he didn't even know how to multiply. Among other things, he said that the opposition uses pensioners as "cannon fodder" in television appearances to oppose the government.
"Pensioners have been a priority, but increasing pensions has been and is the most difficult. Pensions operate on the basis of a social security scheme that is not solid and hollow, as we found. And the increase is made difficult in order not to endanger the foundations of the economy. The increase in the salaries of others should benefit pensioners because in every salary that increases, there is an insurance contribution that remains and goes to you. Despite the fact that along the way we encountered an earthquake, a pandemic, and the consequences of a war on energy prices, we managed to be the only country that did not increase the price of electricity, but lowered it.
The annual doubling growth scheme is 100% guaranteed by the budget. You are the last generation with pen and paper, the next generation has eyes and ears. When it comes to pen and paper, an entire opposition party was led by someone who didn't know how to multiply. The level of those who elected him was even worse. Then the day will come when addition and subtraction will be hit.
It makes me laugh when those who come out without a clue say that the pensioners voted for the SP because they are communists. They are the ones who talk in front of the cameras about pensions, then when the cameras are turned off they take the money illegally because they do not contribute. Whoever talks more about you in the studio pays less for you from their salary, because they take most of it illegally so as not to give you pensions. Because they want you as cannon fodder against the government , "said Rama. /CNA
