"We parted coldly and without communication"/ Lawyer Kujtim Cakrani: I

Lawyer Kujtim Cakrani spoke today following former President Ilir Meta's decision to no longer be his client as he faces a legal process.

In a television interview, Cakrani said that he had parted ways with Meta coldly and without further communication since the last session.

The lawyer also shared a professional regret, that of not appearing as a defense attorney while dealing with Meta's file for a long time.

"That session we parted very coldly and had no further communication. I don't want to talk more, I am more than crystal clear in my relationship with him. It was a silent separation. Meta today decided to hire another lawyer, I had thought about this too, they were in agreement with Mr. Meta. I don't know who the new lawyer will be. Whoever it is, he has found the foundation laid because you know that I have done an extraordinary job and for this I remain hostage. I raised the shattered image of the former president considering what happened and this is what remains a little hostage to me", said the lawyer. /CNA
