The clashes over Vlora airport continue. Businessman Behgjet Pacolli has once again come out with a public statement clarifying that neither he nor his family members are under indictment or investigation by any prosecutor in the Republic of Albania.
In a reaction on social media, Pacolli emphasizes that the attempt to illegally acquire 47% of Mabco's shares is not an issue that Mabco was aware of or gave any consent to.
Pacolli accuses former VIA administrator Valon Lluka, notary Valbona Selimi, and the owner of 2% of VIA's shares, Valon Ademi, of fraudulent actions for personal gain.
The businessman writes that the case is currently in the civil and criminal processing phase before the competent court in Tirana.
"For the purpose of clarification, for some media that, intentionally or due to lack of information, continue to distort the truth, I responsibly confirm:
a) First, I want to clarify firmly and undeniably that I, Behgjet Pacolli, have not been and am not under any accusation, nor under any investigation by any prosecutor in the Republic of Albania.
This also applies to Emin Pacolli, to every member of my family, as well as to every collaborator of ours who has been or is connected to the VIA project.
b) The attempted illegal acquisition of 47% of Mabco's shares is not a matter of which Mabco was aware or gave any consent. On the contrary, this constitutes an illegal and fraudulent act, with serious legal, civil and criminal consequences.
This action was carried out by the former administrator of VIA, Valon Lluka, who, after 18 years of cooperation, betrayed the trust given for personal gain; by notary Valbona Selimi; and by the owner of 2% of VIA's shares, Valon Ademi.
This matter is currently in the civil and criminal stages of the competent court in Tirana. In this case, Mabco is the injured party and is taking all necessary legal actions to protect its property.
The groups that have carried out, as well as those that continue to support this illegal action, are the same ones that, through the decisions of several judges, have managed to illegally block the normal continuation of works at Vlora Airport, in front of the eyes of state bodies — not to mention with their help or inaction.
I believe everyone can be officially informed about these matters by the relevant state bodies.
Regarding the matter, Mabco is in the process of elaborating an independent international legal report, which confirms and documents the illegal nature and causes of these actions, especially the illegal seizure of Vlora Airport.
PS.
The so-called media statements reported by Bujar Ejupi, without a tag, of VIA are only a false and deceptive interpretation of the so-called contracts, which were signed without the knowledge of MABCO and abusively with the aim of damaging MABCO by Valon Lluka and Valon Ademi.
These contracts have been reported to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, which is expected to make a statement regarding this matter," Pacolli writes./ CNA
