The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to return the file against the former head of the Public Procurement Commission, Jonaid Myzyri, for further investigation, rejecting SPAK's request to dismiss the case.
According to the decision, the Special Prosecution Office has been given a 45-day deadline to conduct additional investigative actions, including conducting an expert report, in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
Several former members of the Public Procurement Commission, who were previously taken as defendants, have also been investigated in this case.
The investigations are related to a public procurement procedure worth around 2.2 million euros, conducted in 2020 for the maintenance of several road segments in the north of the country./ CNA
