CNA poll: 64% of respondents against Erion Veliaj's release

A survey conducted by CNA highlighted the largely negative perception of citizens regarding the issue of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

The survey was conducted from January 31 to February 15 and yielded data on the question: "Should Erion Veliaj be released from prison?"

64% of voters voted against, 28% in favor and 8% chose the "Don't know" alternative.

As is easily apparent from the data, the majority of voters support the continuation of the security measures imposed on the mayor.

We recall that Erion Veliaj has been in prison for more than a year, after being arrested on February 10 of last year.

But why are citizens against the release of Erion Veliaj?

In fact, the stance against changing Erion Veliaj's security measure, which could lead to his release, is based on several factors:
