Sokol Sadushi and the pure scenarios in favor of Erion Veliaj

Exactly 17 days ago, on April 9, at 09:30, the United Colleges gathered in a judicial session to review an act taken by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi.

This is an act that directly benefits the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who has been in Durrës prison cells for about 14 months, facing 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses.

In fact, the review conducted at that session was nothing more than a pure script with political purposes.

CNA has reported week after week on this shameful scheme, in which the Head of the Supreme Court himself has been a part, as a means to get the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, out of prison and give him a lighter security measure.

The untested Sokol Sadushi issued an interim decision, exercising this duty for the first time, to initiate the procedure for the partial amendment of the unified practice of the Joint Colleges of the Supreme Court of 2011, on personal security measures.

Not only that, but Sokol Sadushi, who is known as a strong supporter and close friend of Mero Baze, the journalist of Erion Veliaj's family, seems to expect a "reward" from this process.

A few days ago, CNA reported through several exclusive sources that a clear scheme goes as far as a bargain for the position of President of the Republic.

Known as a lawyer who went out the window and entered the door of the justice system, Sokol Sadushi seeks to overturn criminal decisions, solely to favor a decision that will serve the mayor linked to scandals and accusations, who continues to use technicalities, procedures and scenarios to avoid facing the truth before the law and to escape justice. /CNA
