Clashes over Vlora/Pacolli Airport, Tirana Court's accusation: Influenced

Businessman Behgjet Pacolli has reacted sharply to the public and legal debates and clashes related to the Vlora Airport project, as well as the Tirana Court's decision to freeze the situation.

Pacolli has described the Tirana Court's decision as illegal and harmful to the MABCO company.

According to Pacolli, these developments also violate the country's legal and constitutional order.

Pacolli emphasizes that law enforcement agencies must investigate and address these issues in order to protect the rule of law and institutions.

Referring to the public debate about the project, Pacolli states that the same accusations and speculations have been repeated for months, which according to him have changed the way they are perceived only depending on the context and the moment when they were made public.

He adds that every concessionary relationship has legally defined boundaries and that no one can make decisions on rights that do not belong only to them, emphasizing that state interests are also involved in this process.

Pacolli also underlines that the issue remains the subject of ongoing legal proceedings, while emphasizing that the courts are the institution where facts are assessed and decisions are made based on the law.

"The narrative supported by "strong people" about Delfos is a shameful LIE that has created confusion in the public and served as an instrument for certain JUDGES who issued illegal court decisions."

These illegal actions, in addition to the irreparable damage they have caused to MABCO, the community, and the state, have also attempted to violate the constitutional and legal order of the country.

The bodies responsible for fighting crime must investigate and punish these phenomena in accordance with the law, to protect the rule of law and its institutions.

There is something that always impresses me in Albanian public life. So often, it is not so interesting what is said as the moment when it is decided to say it.

For months we heard the same speculations, accusations, the same claims, the same theories, Delfos Delfos, Delfos. They were said in television studios, in political statements, in court proceedings. Back then they were considered mere claims of a party to the conflict. Today, suddenly, they are emerging as institutional concerns even when the claims received exhaustive answers from the Supreme Court. So, every normal businessman here has the right to ask himself what has changed?

Because facts are either true from day one, or they are not at all. They do not become true only when the voice that pronounces them changes. I am also surprised by the very idea that an investor can impose a burden on rights that he does not own alone. In every concessionary relationship there are clear boundaries. No one can dispose of what is not his alone. Even less so when rights and interests that also belong to the state are involved. This is as clear as daylight!

Therefore, the question is not whether one can do this. The question is whether one can do it without the consent of those who have their share of the right? And the answer seems clear in the light of day. Any other claim remains the subject of ongoing legal proceedings. The courts are the place where facts are proven and where claims and speculations gain or lose legal value.

But when legal debates start to turn into "public alarms," ??one cannot help but wonder whether the real concern is what might happen tomorrow, or what someone wants to achieve the day after tomorrow. Our exhaustive written answers should put an end to everyone's speculation and on everyone's lips!

"Time usually provides the answers that politics tries to hide," writes Pacolli.
