The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, shared details today regarding the decision to declare Ikballe Huduti Berisha an "undesirable person in the Republic of Albania" for a period of 15 years.

In a media statement, Lamallari said that the decision was made based on information from intelligence services.

The Minister added that if this citizen is found within the territory of the Republic of Albania, she will be expelled from the country.

 "It is based on intelligence information. The decision is based on intelligence information, it is appropriate, for the benefit of our country. And any information that they have, which over time is concluded in the fact that the person's activity constitutes a threat, leads to such a decision-making. There is also an expulsion order. If he is found within the territory of the Republic of Albania, he is expelled from the country. I reacted at certain moments, I do not share information that I must legally keep limited. A protest that started as a citizen, became a platform for foreign agendas. There are foreign agendas that do not want Albania in the EU", said Lamallari. /CNA
