Debates at "Territorialja" in Korça/ Clash between Democrats and the representative of the Municipality Maliq

During the hearing held in Korça on the territorial reform, the discussions were accompanied by debates and tensions among the participants. The Director of the Cultural Center of Maliq Municipality, Dhora Dajko, in her speech, stated that Maliq Municipality is a model municipality, evaluating the way it functions and is administered.

Her statement brought reactions from Democratic Party supporters, who stood up, opposing Dajko's speech and creating moments of tension in the hall.

Also present was the Democratic MP, Fidel Kreka. The situation escalated into debates between the parties, while the discussion on territorial reform was interrupted for several moments by verbal clashes. The hearings are being held to gather suggestions and opinions on possible changes in the territorial division of the country.

However, in Korça, the political debate between the parties took precedence over the discussion on alternatives and concrete proposals for the reform. The DP supporters and MP Fidel Kreka, instead of presenting a position or alternative for the territorial reform, have chosen to clash and tense the meeting.
