GJKKO reviews SPAK's request for Jonaid Myzyri's case, decision on May 25

This Wednesday, the trial against the former head of the Public Prosecutor's Office, Jonaid Myzyri, took place at the Special Court.

SPAK has requested the dismissal of the case for the criminal offense of violating equality in tenders.

Prosecutor Elvin Gokaj argued that after completing all phases of the investigation, it was not proven that Myzyri, Vilma Zhupaj, Lindita Skeja, Merita Zeqaj and Enkeleda Bega committed a criminal offense.

Defense attorneys have argued that members of the Public Procurement Commission do not conduct tender procedures, but only appeal procedures, and that the institution functions as a quasi-judicial structure.

At the end of the hearing, Judge Paulin Çera is expected to deliver the verdict on May 25 at 10:30./ CNA
