"No surprise"/ Meta, reaction to the first trial session on the merits

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted from prison, regarding the first session of the trial on the merits. In his reaction, Meta criticized the court's decision to reject his request for the sessions to be broadcast live to the media.

According to him, justice is not even respecting the standard of judging former public officials, at a time when Albania was not a member of the Council of Europe.

Even when Albania was not a member of the Council of Europe, public officials were tried in the presence of their lawyers and each trial session was broadcast live.

But in George Soros' justice, carried out with the knowledgeable commitment of Charles McGonigal and many others like him, instead of respecting the Constitution, the European Convention on Human Rights and the call of the Albanian Helsinki Committee, the standard of judging a terrorist in France becomes the norm and not the standard of judging the President of France, Sarkozy.

Sorosist justice does not even respect the standard of judging former Prime Minister Nano and former officials of the communist regime, when, I emphasize, Albania was not a member of the Council of Europe.
