The first trial session on the merits of the CEZ-DIA affair and lobbying in the US has begun, where former President Ilir Meta, his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi and 3 others have been named as defendants in the case.
The hearing is being held with cameras in the presence of the judges, and there have been arguments between Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakran, and the judge. The lawyer has requested that the PL leader not be kept in a glass cage.
