Vlora Airport/Pacolli: The Supreme Court's decision shows the horror that

After the Supreme Court's decision on the Vlora Airport case was revealed, businessman Behgjet Pacolli has stated that the conclusions of the decision describe in detail the legal horror that has been inflicted on him, his family and his company for more than a year.

Pacolli emphasizes that they have gone through phases of constant insults, curses, humiliations, and denigration.

In his reaction on social media, Pacolli says that they have been threatened with death, have been banned from work, and have been expelled from the workshop.

According to him, millions have been embezzled from VIA's accounts, inventory has been destroyed, and the terminal has been blocked for two months.

Behgjet Pacolli's statement

Dear compatriots!

I am reading the Supreme Court decision, which was made public today.

In a completely humane manner, I invite all of you who have followed the Vlora Airport case to read this decision carefully.

Above all, it would be right and correct for those who, for months, have poisoned public opinion and the social environment with interpretations "just to say something" or with positions driven by malice or self-interest to read it.

But, for me, it is especially important that those people who have trusted me over the years read this decision. The Supreme Court's conclusions describe in detail the legal HORROR that has been inflicted on me, my family, and my company for more than a year.

The emotional suffering that my family and I have experienced has been so great that it is difficult to describe in words.

We have gone through phases of constant insults, curses, humiliations and denigrations. We have been threatened and expelled from VIA meetings, even in the presence of MIE representatives. We have been threatened with our lives, our work has been stopped and we have been expelled from the workshop. They have cut off our electricity and internet, they have embezzled millions from VIA's accounts, they have blocked the road and the entrance to the workshop, and they have blocked the terminal, which was ready to be put into operation. Moreover, they have stolen and destroyed the inventory, while the terminal has remained blocked for almost two months. All this was organized by Valon Ademi who acts and judges himself, orders the police and decides himself how it should happen, as if he were the king. He himself appoints an "administrator" and dictates how to act. and his "administrator", sometimes Vegim Hoxha and sometimes Bujar Ejupi, implements.

All of these people have "interesting" records in Kosovo!

All of this (and more) has happened before the eyes of state institutions, without any effective intervention. Our complaints have remained unprocessed and unanswered. We have knocked on every door, but we have found them all closed.

Our last hope remains SPAK. We expect and believe that it will conduct a full, impartial and in-depth investigation, because this is not only our expectation, but a legal and moral obligation that this institution has towards citizens and justice.

The Supreme Court's decision is not simply a procedural act. It documents, with legal arguments, a PAINFUL reality that we have experienced every day.

I believe that anyone who reads it objectively will be able to form a fair judgment on what really happened to us.

I want to express my boundless gratitude to my family, who have stood by me through this incredibly difficult challenge, a challenge that I would never have imagined could happen in my Albania – the country and people I love more than anything.

I have always believed that the people and institutions I have humbly respected would appreciate such an investment. In any other country in the world, an investment of this magnitude would be received with respect and gratitude. Unfortunately, instead, I was forced to face irresponsible, now ILLEGAL “judicial decisions” which, as the Supreme Court has found, plunged me into a legal labyrinth with serious emotional, material and image consequences.

Even today, the airport continues to be blocked by illegal groups that obstruct entrances and access roads, in the presence of the state police, while this is happening even in front of the eyes of the responsible MEI institutions.

I am happy that the highest instance of justice in the country has confirmed my right. This decision has restored my faith, strength and morale to continue my battle, always in accordance with the law and with the conviction that justice, no matter how late, must triumph.

I thank my legal team in Tirana, the Eduard HALIMI - Arlind AHMETAJ office, who has been by my side and my family at every moment of this challenge.

I am grateful to all those who never lost faith in us and continued to support us even in the most difficult days.

This ugly challenge began only because I never agreed to compromise on the principles on which I have built my life and business. These principles have never been and will never be negotiable.

Once again, I call on good people, whose opinion matters to me, to read this decision.

Beyond the legal aspect, for me it represents a great moral victory./ CNA
