Rama: This is when I accept my resignation

Prime Minister Edi Rama started this Friday morning with a message from a citizen who wrote to him that he should resign in 2030, where the socialists claim that Albania will be part of the EU.

The Prime Minister, while publishing the message, humbly acknowledges that in 2030, when Albania is part of the EU, he can resign.

Rama's post

GOOD MORNING

and with the following request for resignation from an unknown number, which I fully understand and humbly accept, I wish you a peaceful day

Resignation manifesto(s)

It's probably the most overused word in the virtual world, so I'm bringing it up as 'Millennials' in the hope that "Gen Z" won't denigrate me with comments.

Before I continue, I'm telling you (with the ease of a burden I don't have on my shoulders, along with +800K votes) that governance is plagued most by arrogance and the science of omniscience, but this deserves a broader philosophical space for discussion.

Now read it (if you can and of course if you want).

Resign for the transformations of urban and rural areas.

Resign for airports!

Resign for tourism that is hitting record numbers!

Resign for the negotiations that are opening up!

Resign for the eighth intergovernmental conference.

Resign to get the economy back on track!

Resign because today you have increased salaries in almost all sectors of the economy.

Resign because today there is a peaceful protest and there is no sniper at your window!

Resign for transformations in education, healthcare, infrastructure and more.

Reality is annoying for those who live with the nostalgia of perpetual crisis.

Resign, because you turned Albania into a country that is today internationally respected.

Or think of it this way: Resign...in 2030!

We won't need you then, but we'll certainly remember you./ CNA
