For 52 days, CNA has exposed two fraudsters to public opinion, Erion Veliaj, the dismissed mayor, and Mero Bazen, his media bodyguard.

For 52 days in a row, Erion Veliaj and Mero Baze continue to lie to Albanians about prosecutor Ols Dado, making accusations and slanders that the latter requested an additional fee for the construction permit and that when Veliaj was in office as mayor, he had refused, which is why he had launched investigations for revenge and conflict of interest.

For 52 consecutive days, we have asked Erion Veliaj and Mero Baze to publish the document with Ols Dado's signature for the permit and the refusal with Veliaj's signature for this permit, but they have not published it (simply because the request does not exist, just like the Tirana incinerator).

This lie, this deception, comes as an attack on justice and the prosecutor.

Erion Veliaj's claim

In point 135, Veliaj says that prosecutor Ols Dado obtained a building permit from the Municipality of Tirana and then requested an addition to the permit and this was refused.

While in point 136 of the document without a seal and signature, Erion treats this as a matter of "revenge" on the part of prosecutor Ols Dado, because, according to him, he was not granted a construction permit for the addition after he made a request.

Mero Baze's claim

Mero Baze says that, according to him, the investigation against Veliaj is being insistently requested by a prosecutor, who months ago had a personal conflict with him, regarding his requests for a construction permit outside the legal criteria that the municipality had.
