The incumbent chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, continued today to advertise himself as a graduate in the West. So Lulzim Basha continues with the same rhetoric, that he graduated in the West. Beyond all the scandals and successive failures during his years in politics, a ?shadow? scandal that haunts Lulzim Basha, is exactly the story of his alleged graduation in the Netherlands.

Basha boasts of his alleged graduation from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, but his degree has never been made public. In December 2018, in the media was published an article according to which the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, lied about the alleged graduation in the Netherlands.

According to this information, Lulzim Basha started his high school in 1993 and finished it in 2005. So, it took him 12 years to complete his studies, of which in 6 years he received only a diploma of one year of preparation, and completed it through correspondence studies while it was working in Kosovo.

To shed light on the truth, the editorial office of CNA.al addressed an official letter to the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha on 25.04.2019, asking him to authorize the provision of information, based on the official request of the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

But Lulzim Basha?s diploma has never been made public. And with his silence Basha shows that he has something to hide. As a western leader who claims to be, if there is nothing to hide, he should have returned us the answer, and published the diploma he claims to have received in the Netherlands.
