The Special Appeal Commission has upheld the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission for the former head of the Serious Crimes Prosecution, Blerim Tominaj.
Tominaj was dismissed from office on June 16, 2020, after getting stuck in the vetting "sitta" for the property.
According to KPK, Tominaj did not have convincing evidence for some financial actions worth 292 thousand euros within his close family circle.
The former director of the Prosecution of Serious Crimes could not justify a loan from his brother-in-law of 100 thousand euros, an apartment inherited from his father worth 22 thousand euros and an inherited bar worth 170 thousand euros./ CNA.al
