Artificial Intelligence/ Google: We're developing new tools to help journalists

Google says it is developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to help journalists write headlines in different writing styles and different stories.

"Our goal is to give journalists the choice to use these emerging technologies in a way that enhances their work and productivity," a Google spokesperson said in a statement provided to Euronews.

Artificial intelligence has grown rapidly and has fueled concerns that it could replace jobs. There have also been questions about the accuracy of the information provided by the AI.

"These tools alone are not intended to and cannot replace the essential role journalists play in reporting, creating and fact-checking their articles," Google said./ CNA
