Pedophiles profit from Artificial Intelligence/ Create and sell images of child

Pedophiles are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create and sell child sexual abuse material.

This has been denounced by the prestigious media " BBC ", which has discovered that the creators of these materials are using Artificial Intelligence software called Stable Diffusion.

Stable Diffusion software allows users to describe, using word instructions, any image they want, and the program then creates the image.

But "BBC" reports that pedophiles are creating images similar to real life sexual abuse of children, including babies or minors.

Images of abuse are being distributed through a three-stage process:

Pedophiles make images using Artificial Intelligence software.

They promote photos on platforms such as a Japanese website called Pixiv.

These accounts direct customers to their clearer images, which people can pay to see on sites like Patreon.

Patreon said it had a "zero tolerance" policy for such images on its site. On the other hand, the company "Pixiv" stated that it had proactively strengthened its monitoring systems and was allocating significant resources to counter problems related to Artificial Intelligence products.

This scandal has also been confirmed by the United Kingdom police's online child abuse investigation teams.

The National Police Chief's Council said some platforms were making "huge profits" but not taking "moral responsibility".

Meanwhile, the creation and sale of these images of abuse by pedophiles, using Artificial Intelligence, has begun to be investigated./ CNA.al
